CONTINUITY TEST

To perform a resistance continuity test, refer to the following:

1. Insert the black lead into the COM banana jack input and the red lead into

the V/Ω/C banana jack input

2. Press the R key. An ‘R’ appears at the top of the screen

3. Press the SET key repeatedly until the following is shown on the screen:

4. Connect the red and black leads to the test points. If the resistance value is

lower than 50Ω the meter will emit an audible tone

The meter display will also show the resistance as shown in example Figure 4.
